Sparkling Pink Rose Cupcakes

Sparkling Rose cupcakes!

Cupcakes:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup sparkling rose
  • 1 tsp pink food coloring
  • 1/4 cup pink hard candy
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 eggs

Frosting:

  • 16 oz confectioners sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup sparkling rose
  • Garnish:
  • Pink roses
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 egg whites

Pre-heat your oven to 350 and line your cupcake tin. Combine cupcake ingredients and beat until smooth. Pour in sparkling wine last. Fill liners until 2/3 full and bake for 16 minutes. While baking, mix your frosting ingredients. You can adjust the pink food coloring to your preference. For your garnish, take rose petals (one per cupcake), dip in egg whites, and coat in sugar. These will need to dry for 12-36 hours. Frost cupcakes and garnish when ready. Enjoy!
