Celebrity Ways to Slim Down for Summer

Ever wonder how the celebrities get into great shape for a role or an appearance or just what they do to stay in great shape? Here are a few tips and tricks you can use to slim down this summer.

Jessica Simpson (Singer, Actress)

After her second baby, this mom of two lost the original 40 lbs. she gained during her pregnancy as well as an additional 20 lbs. with the help of weight watchers, regular workouts and getting in 8-10,000 steps per day.

Carrie Underwood (Singer, Actress)

Carrie is now strictly vegan and attributes her slender figure and world famous toned legs to working out on a consistent basis and making dinner a “breadless” meal. She keeps her food clean and has oatmeal for breakfast, sandwich on eziekle bread for lunch and just veggies and carbs for dinner. She claims to wake up with a flat belly from not eating carbs at night.

Matthew McCaughey (Actor)

This busy actor performs short burst of 20 min workouts throughout the day. He find parts of his day where he drops and does 20 pushups, squats or crunches. Add that up for 10X per day and you’ve completed 200 reps!

Gwyneth Paltrow (Actress)

When Gwyneth needs to get ready for a role, she slims down by starting her day with Green Tea and a shake. She implements Kale juice for a morning and afternoon snack between meals and has a low carb lunch for dinner. She claims this regimen has got her in the best shape of her life.

Megan Fox (Actress)

Megan fox swears by her “5 factor workout”; 5 min cardio warm up, 5 min upper body, 5 min of lower body, 5 mins of Abs and a 5 min cool down.

Jay Z (Singer/Songwriter)

Wife Beyoncé put him on a 22 diet revolution. 22 days of plant based meals, 3X per day. The reason behind the 22 days? It takes 21 days to develop a habit.

Kate Hudson (Actress)

Tracks her food and calories on the app called “My Fitness Pal”. She inputs everything she eats in the app and claims “knowledge is power.” After using the app for a while, she has been able to how many calories are in something just by looking at it.
