Solar Eclipse Safety

On Monday , August 21st, we will experience a solar eclipse.

Janet Baker from the Oregon Optometric Physicians Association joined us to talk about the safe ways to observe the eclipse.

How To Stay Safe:

Wear CE-certified eclipse glasses.

Make a pinhole projector to watch a reflected image of the eclipse.

Cover the lenses of binoculars, telescopes or cameras with solar filters-place the filter on the front, not on the back where you place your eyes.

Wear welder's gogles with lens glass rated 14 or hight.
