John Kim, therapist, blogger and author of The Angry Therapist: A No BS Guide to Finding and Living Your Own Truth has made it his mission to remove the wall separating therapist from client, preferring a transparent style not commonly seen in therapy. Traditional therapists avoid transparency, but Kim preferred the language of "me too" as opposed to "you should." He blogged about his own shortcomings, revelations, views on relationships, and the world. People emerged from the blogosphere eager to work with him. He had sessions in coffee shops, on walks around a lake, online with people from all around the world, and devised a new, simpler, and more effective way to help people change.
