Sweet Dill Pickles from The Cowboy Cook Jeff Tracy
- 1/2 gallon dill pickles
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup vinegar
- Rinse jar and pickles. Cut pickles into chunks.
- Put pickles back into jar. Pour sugar and vinegar over pickles.
- Replace lid and shake. Shake again until sugar dissolves.
- Refrigerate overnight. Shake again before serving.
