Singer/Songwriter Tyrone Wells

Spokane, WA singer/songwriter Tyrone Wells returns with his 5th studio album, Where We Meet. The latest album is slated for release on March 6th via Position Music. The album marks the first full-length album from Tyrone since parting ways with Universal Republic Records after the release of Remain in 2009. In 2010, Tyrone released the independent EP Metal & Wood which spent 3 weeks at the #1 spot on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter chart. The latest release looks to build upon the success of the EP and is chock full of Tyrone's signature melodies which have built him a loyal fan base nationwide. From the opening riff of "Freedom" to the closing chord of "A Way Out" the latest release demonstrates the unforgettable songwriting and memorable lyrics that set Tyrone apart from others in the genre. Tyrone worked with Bill Lefler (Ingrid Michaelson, Gym Class Heroes) and Thomas Doeve (Trent Dabbs, Andrew Belle) to produce Where We Meet. The first single from the upcoming release is the album opener, "Freedom." The song will be going for adds at AAA radio on January 30th.
Tyrone has also made quite a name for himself in the licensing world as well. His music has been heard in countless shows including American Idol, One Tree Hill, Vampire Diaries and Private Practice to name a few. The song "More" from 2008's Remain was the music bed for promo spots for the hit CBS drama, Cold Case and "Sink or Swim" from the same album was used in the promos for the season premier of Grey's Anatomy. "Running Around In My Dreams" from the 2010 EP Metal & Wood was the end title music for the 2011 feature film Something Borrowed.
Tyrone Wells will be heading out on tour in support of Where We Meet in March. The tour will kick off at the SxSW Music Festival in Austin the week of March 12 with various shows around the city. From there, the band will head out on a national headlining tour.
