Beaverton HS briefly put into lockdown after man reportedly flashed gun
BEAVERTON, Ore. - Beaverton High School was briefly placed into lockdown Tuesday afternoon after there was a report a man flashed a gun.
According to Beaverton police spokesman Mike Rowe, police received a report that a man had flashed a handgun that he had in his waistband near the high school. The man then took off in a vehicle.
Police caught up to the man and detained the man and then lifted the lockdown at the school.
