Driver arrested on DUII charge after deadly crash with motorcyclist
CLACKAMAS, Ore. - A man riding a motorcycle died in a crash after a pickup truck driver pulled in front of him on Highway 212 early Saturday morning.
Clackamas County sheriff's deputies said Kenneth Bladow, 52, was riding east on Highway 212 when 23-year-old Bradley Brock pulled his Ford F150 in front of him. Bladow hit the passenger side of the truck and died.
Deputies said Brock was intoxicated at the time of the crash. He was arrested and taken to the Clackamas County on charges of DUII and manslaughter (1st degree).
He is being held on $257,500 bail.
Bladow was an employee of the North Clackamas School District. Spokesman Joe Krumm said Bladow was a tech specialist at the Sabin Schellenberg Professional Technical Center. He helped high school students with live television and radio productions.
