Inmate accidentally set free is captured

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. - A man who was accidentally released from the Clark County jail is now back in custody.

Zackery Searcy was transferred from Federal Way, Wash., to the Clark County jail last week and a jail staffer accidentally let him go the next day.

Searcy is charged with first-degree rendering criminal assistance in connection with the murder of Josh Schenk last year. Investigators believe he got rid of a rifle that was used by another man to shoot Schenk.

U.S. marshals tracked Searcy down and arrested him in Federal Way, Wash. on Thursday. Searcy will eventually be brought back to Clark County - he is due in court at the end of May.
