Man finds his own car for sale on eBay
GRESHAM, Ore. - Bill Lewis held on to his 1969 Ford Torino GT convertible for 35 years.
He bought it on a whim in 1979.
"I thought it was pretty cool," he said. "I thought, yeah, I like this. I'm gonna keep it."
Thirty years later, Bill has decided cash is better than cool. He decided to sell the car on Craigslist for $7,000.
But it showed up for sale on eBay.
"That's my car and my garage, but not my listing," Lewis said.
Someone else put Lewis' car up for sale on the auction site, where it sold for $9,000.
