Mother of Milwaukie woman thrown from motorcycle: 'It's devastating'

DALLAS, Ore. - The mother of a 35-year-old Milwaukie, Ore. woman who was thrown off a motorcycle in Washington and hit by another vehicle said her daughter is the third member of her family to die on the road.

Sheri Warner died on Interstate 90 near George, Wash. on Friday. The Washington State Patrol said Warner was a passenger on the motorcycle and the driver was drunk.

State patrol cited the man, but the other driver who hit Warner never stopped.

"It's devastating. It's my baby girl who I talked to every day," said Connie Klemm, Sheri's mother. "I can't talk to her anymore."

Klemm said a drunk driver hit and killed Sheri's two cousins in Estacada when Sheri was 15 years old.

They were three and six years old at the time.

"It destroys us. I can't believe it's happening to us again."

Warner was living in Seattle where she worked in the food industry.

"She was really doing good. Her life was good. She was happy. She was excited about school."
