Mystery of the Morrison Bridge lights is solved

In the days leading up to the Civil War, OSU supporters bought the rights to light up the Morrison Bridge in Beaver orange. But when we shot video Monday night, and Tuesday morning, the lights looked an awful lot like a mix of green and yellow.

So we wondered - is a University of Oregon supporter flipping the switch? Maybe a Duck mixing the colors?

No, said OSU, it's just that from certain angles, and depending on how dark it is outside, the orange can look a little yellow.

The pictures they took (see links below) do look a little more like what we had expected. But even still, they have asked engineers to make the lights a bit darker, so the orange comes through better.
