Police arrest coffee shop drive-thru flashing suspect
SHERWOOD, Ore. - Police arrested a man accused of exposing himself multiple times over several weeks at drive-thru coffee shops and fast food restaurants.
Detectives from the Lake Oswego and Tualatin police departments arrested Robert Ray Martin, 48, at his home in Sherwood on Saturday.
Martin faces 10 counts of felony public indecency. He's accused of exposing himself and masturbating at drive-thrus in Lake Oswego, Tigard, Tualatin, Wilsonville and Portland.
Someone called police after they recognized a car matching the description of the suspect's car in a used car dealership parking lot in Tualatin, according to police. Police learned that Martin had sold the car to the dealership on Dec. 30.
KATU spoke with a 20-year-old woman who said the suspect exposed himself and masturbated in front of her at a Starbucks drive-through window in Lake Oswego last month.
"I just feel really violated," she said. "It keeps replaying in my head."
Detectives took Martin to the Washington County Jail.
Police think there may be other victims and they're asking anyone with information related to additional crimes to call Tualatin police at 503-849-9177.
