Salem police investigating Internet fraud case
A Salem man has been arrested in connection with an Internet fraud investigation.
Detectives from the Salem Police Department served a search warrant around 9 a.m. Friday in the 5300 block of Baxter Court SE, and arrested 56-year-old Karl Schick.
Two individuals had reported purchasing firearms or parts of firearms from Schick over the Internet and that Schick failed to deliver the goods.
Schick is already on felony probation for frauds he committed in 2009.
He was lodged at the Marion County Correctional Facility.
He has been charged with two counts of theft I by deception.
