Sheriff's office investigating car break-ins in Aloha neighborhood

ALOHA, Ore. - The Washington County Sheriff's Office is investigating at least eight car break-ins that occurred Thursday night in Aloha.

The break-ins were reported in the area of SW 188th Avenue and Westword Street.

Sgt. David Thompson said many of the victims told deputies they left their cars unlocked. The victims said their cars were ransacked and items were taken.

Thompson said the sheriff's office is reminding people to lock their cars when they park. Anyone who suspects their car was broken into is asked to call the sheriff's office.
