Vancouver police search for armed and dangerous suspect
VANCOUVER, Wash. - Police in Vancouver gave made one arrest but are still looking for a man who they said kidnapped, assaulted and robbed three people early Tuesday morning.
Nicholas M. Loredo is considered armed and dangerous, according to police spokeswoman Kim Kapp. Tyfannie M. Kuykendall was arrested by the Major Crimes Unit and charged with kidnapping, robbery and assault.
Officers responded to the 1200 block of V Street after the crimes were reported around 7 a.m. Tuesday. Detectives said Loredo robbed, kidnapped and assaulted two adults and a 17-year-old. Loredo and the victims know each other, Kapp said.
A Clark County Sheriff's deputy said Loredo's truck was found outside a house off N.E. 131st Ave. and 71st St. late Tuesday night, leading to a standoff. Loredo was not found in the house.
None of the victims was seriously hurt.
Loredo is a white man who is 5'11'' tall and weighs 178 lbs. He has a red Mohawk hairstyle, brown eyes, and a goatee. He has numerous visible tattoos on his neck. He was last seen driving a green 2003 Ford Ranger pickup truck with the Oregon license plate ZKR 453 (rear license plate only).
Police said Laredo should not be approached. Anyone who sees him should call 911.
