Jaden Winn is a trailblazer in youth advocacy.

The 14-year-old has created the first teen advocacy group in Portland called IGniting Change, which involves youth working to ease the homeless crisis.

He’s been involved in volunteer work since he was young. Jaden traveled around the country with his mom at 11 years old doing community service work.

He was impacted greatly this past winter with our growing homeless environment in Portland. But the death of a man from hypothermia sparked an idea to make a difference. He raised money and put together bags of supplies to help the homeless.

Since that time he has taken his community service work to the next level, encouraging other youth to be involved through IGniting Change.
