Thousands of dollars offered for info in deadly shooting of Bald Eagle
SALEM, Ore. —
The Audubon Society is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information in the deadly shooting of a Bald Eagle earlier this summer.
The eagle was shot on or around June 27, 2017 off Old Highway 47 and Looking Glass Drive, north of Gaston. The eagle was taken to the Audubon Society for treatment, but later died of its injuries.
The Oregon Hunters Association Yamhill Chapter, Oregon Hunters Association Tualatin Valley Chapter and the US Fish and Wildlife Service are all offering a $1,000 reward each for more information on the shooting.
