Homicide investigation: 3 victims found outside Roseburg

"The Douglas County Major Crimes Team has been activated and is currently on scene," the sheriff's office statement said.

ROSEBURG, Ore. - Deputies located 3 victims after a report of a homicide southwest of Roseburg Tuesday night.

"The circumstances of the incident are the current focus of the investigation," the Douglas County Sheriff's Office said in a statement titled "UPDATE - HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION" at 11:45 p.m. November 7.

The Douglas County 911 center received a report of a homicide at 8:43 p.m. Deputies responded to the 400 block of Whispering Pines Way in the Lookingglass area southwest of Roseburg.

"The Douglas County Major Crimes Team has been activated and is currently on scene," the sheriff's office statement said. "The Douglas County Major Crimes Team consists of detectives and investigators from the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, Roseburg Police Department, Oregon State Police and Douglas County District Attorney's Office."
