3.2 earthquake rattles area just northeast of Mount St. Helens Friday morning
According to USGS reports, an earthquake measured at magnitude 3.2 hit the area just a few miles northeast of Mount St. Helens sometime just before 10 a.m. Friday. See more on the USGS website here.
With a depth of roughly 3 miles, the quake was around 21 miles southeast of Morton, Wash., in Lewis County.
There were no initial reports of damage or injury.
Just a day prior, a series of earthquakes hit off the northern California coast, the most powerful of which measured at a magnitude of 6.5.
