Beaverton High School gym closed after cracks discovered
BEAVERTON, Ore. —
Beaverton High School's gym has been completely closed after the principal said dangerous cracks were discovered in the building.
The gym was already scheduled for major renovations this summer.
A letter sent home to parents said crews found the cracks Wednesday while preparing for that project.
The school said it's working on relocating and rescheduling events.
A wrestling meet scheduled for Thursday will be moved to Southridge High School.
