Beaverton police: Missing Arizona girl found safe in Calif.
UPDATE: Police say Sheyenne Garnett has was located safe in San Jose, California. Investigators said she was communicating with a San Jose boy who she met on social media. The boy's father confirmed that Sheyenne was at his house.
San Jose Police were took Sheyenne into protective custody at 10:30 p.m. because she was a runaway.

BEAVERTON, Ore. - Beaverton police are searching for a 13-year-old girl who they say may be in danger.
Sheyenne Marie Garnett is from Arizona. She was on vacation staying with a family friend in the Beaverton area, police said. Early Monday morning, she sent a text message to her father in Arizona that said, "Please don't tell anybody, I am running away."
Police say Garnett has no money, does not use public transportation and does not know the Beaverton area. She takes medications for several conditions, according to police. It's unclear if she has her medicine with her.
Police believe she may have boarded a bus headed for southern Oregon.
Garnett was last seen wearing a black hoodie with the words "cool story bro" on the front, short black athletic shorts and white Converse shoes. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
