Beaverton police: Motorist cited after vehicle gets stuck on train tracks

Police cited a driver for careless driving after he or she drove onto train tracks in Beaverton and got stuck. (SBG photo) 

BEAVERTON, Ore. – A tow truck removed a crashed vehicle that was stuck on train tracks in Beaverton Tuesday night.

According to Beaverton police, the car drove onto train tracks at Southwest Hall Boulevard and Southwest Farmington Road around 9 p.m.

The road and the railroad reopened around 10 p.m.

The driver was cited for careless driving, police said.
