Body recovered from Willamette River

PORTLAND, Ore. - Firefighters and sheriff's deputies pulled a man's body from the Willamette River on Monday morning.

Someone spotted the body floating in the river from their office and called 911, according to Portland Fire & Rescue spokesman Gabriel Watson.

The body was recovered on the east side of the river near Oaks Park.

The man has not been identified. His body was turned over to the county medical examiner's office.
