Columbia Valley Elementary closes for cleaning after 'noro-like virus' spreads

VANCOUVER, Wash. - Officials with the Evergreen School District say they will close Columbia Valley Elementary at the end of the school day Thursday until Monday morning because of the spread of a "highly contagious noro-like virus."

District officials say the virus is affecting students and staff, and that all classes and activities at the school are canceled for the rest of Thursday and through the weekend.

The school will be cleaned before it is reopened Monday morning, they say.
