Crash on I-5 leaves SUV dangling over Mercer Street onramp
SEATTLE -- A crash in the northbound lanes of I-5 in Seattle left an SUV dangling over the edge of the Mercer Street on ramp about 8 p.m. Saturday night.
A tow truck driver happened by the scene and hooked onto the SUV to secure it.
Seattle fire officials say the driver inside the SUV was able to get out and that there are no injuries. The SUV was eventually pulled away about 10:30 p.m.
The Washington State Patrol says the driver didn't appear impaired.
There is no word yet what led up to the crash. But a power pole damaged in the crash was repaired.
