Death investigation in downtown Portland underway after individual falls from roof
PORTLAND, Ore. —
Portland police say a person either fell or jumped from the roof of a downtown building Friday afternoon.
Police say a woman was found suffering from traumatic injuries in the 1700 block of SW 4th Avenue around 2:20 p.m.
She was pronounced dead shortly after.
SW 4th Avenue is closed between Mill and Montgomery streets as police investigate. Police say the woman took her own life.
