Department of Corrections says escaped inmate was arrested in Tualatin

WILSONVILLE, Ore. – An escaped Coffee Creek Correctional Facility inmate is back in custody, Oregon Department of Corrections said Monday.

They said officers from the Tualatin Police Department arrested Lorrie Marie Hocker on Friday around 3:45 p.m.

On Thursday, the department of corrections said they had received a report Hocker was spotted in Tualatin.

She initially escaped from the Coffee Creek Correctional Facility in Wilsonville on Monday, Dec. 4.

Officials say Hocker was on her way to a work assignment in Salem and was riding in a van when she opened a door and fled.

Hocker arrived at the Coffee Creek Correctional Facility on Sept. 12 on two counts of coercion and one count of felony assault out of Lane County. She wasn’t scheduled to be released until July 2018.
