Downed tree leaves thousands without power in Multnomah County

PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland General Electric says a downed tree is causing three power outages and affecting thousands of customers Monday morning.

The utility company says 2,564 customers are without power.

The outages are impacting residents and businesses in the following zip codes: 97202, 97209, 97210.

An outage is cause CLASS Academy in Northwest Portland to cancel school for the day.

PGE says they hope to have power restored by 9:30 a.m.
