Everyday Heroes: USO returns to Portland after 40 years

The United Service Organization just opened a center for military men and women and their families at Portland International Airport. It is the first time in more than 40 years the USO has had a presence in Oregon.

The new center supports military deploying overseas and arriving home, their families and, on a space available basis, reserve, guard , veterans and their families.

USO Northwest is a private, nonprofit volunteer organization serving 500,000 active duty military members.
