An intoxicated driver hit another vehicle head-on Tuesday night in Hillsboro, injuring three people to the hospital, the Washington County Sheriff's Office said.

Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue said a pickup truck and a van were involved in the crash just west of Southwest Farmington and River roads shortly before 9 p.m.

According to deputies, 23-year-old Jesus Villaneuvea-Pettry crossed the center lane with his pickup and crashed into the mini-van head-on.

The 16-year-old girl driving the mini-van was taken to OHSU in a LifeFlight air ambulance. Her father, who was in the passenger seat, is also in the intensive care unit at OHSU.

Villaneuva-Pettry was cited for DUII and taken to the hospital.

Hillsboro firefighters assisted TVF&R crews with the crash.
