Husband and wife shot in Hood River County; no suspects sought

HOOD RIVER, Ore. (AP) A husband and wife from a rural community in Hood River County have been hospitalized with wounds, and authorities say one firearm was found at the scene of the shootings.

The sheriff's office identified the 46-year-olds Tuesday as Gonzalo and Bertha Marquez. They live in the unincorporated community Odell, south of Hood River.

A statement didn't describe the circumstances of the shootings but said deputies weren't looking for suspects.
