I-5 reopens after truck too tall for overpass turns around, exits freeway

PORTLAND, Ore. - A truck that was too tall for an overpass on Interstate 5 snarled northbound traffic while it turned around to get off the freeway Wednesday morning.

Oregon Department of Transportation crews arrived near Southwest Haines Street to close the freeway and help the truck back up for about a half-mile.

KATU's Mike Warner reported the driver apparently missed his exit at Highway 217.

ODOT said the freeway reopened at 10:30 a.m.
