Lanes of Hwy 43 at Sellwood Bridge interchange will be closed Tuesday night.
PORTLAND, Ore. – Lanes of Highway 43, also known as Southwest Macadam Avenue, will be closed Tuesday night into Wednesday morning at the Sellwood Bridge interchange.
The closure will take place from 8 p.m. Tuesday until as late as 5 a.m. Wednesday.
Multnomah County officials say at least one northbound and one southbound lane of traffic will remain open at all times during the closure and ramps to and from the Sellwood Bridge will remain open.
Officials say the lane closures will allow asphalt core samples to be collected at the interchange.
If crews cannot complete the work on Tuesday, the lane closures will be repeated Wednesday night after 8 p.m.
Drivers on Highway 43 and the Sellwood Bridge could experience brief delays during the work.
