Liquor theft suspect steals 9 bottles with diaper bag, police say

WOODLAND, Wash. - Police are looking for a woman who they said stole nearly $500 in liquor from a grocery store in Woodland.

The woman stole nine bottles of liquor from a Safeway store on Jan. 20, police said.

She was caught on surveillance video. Police are asking for help identifying the woman.

She's accused of putting the nine bottles in a very large purse or shoulder bag, similar to a diaper bag.

The value of the theft was $497.48, police said.

Police are investigating whether the suspect committed similar thefts at other stores.
