Man accused of pulling out gun at Salem Target store caught

SALEM, Ore. - Police arrested a man accused of pulling a gun on a Salem Target store security guard during a theft on Monday.

A Salem police officer spotted and recognized 28-year-old Kraig James Fox of Keizer on Tuesday night. Fox was arrested on warrants for parole violation and taken to the Marion County Jail.

The Marion County Sheriff's Office says Fox will likely face charges in connection with the robbery after he is interviewed by detectives.

Fox pulled out a gun when a security member confronted him during a theft at the Target store on Center Street in Salem Monday afternoon, the sheriff's office said.
