Man accused of stealing shoes from the same store twice in two days
WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ore. —
Deputies say a man stole shoes two days in a row from the same store in Washington County.
The first incident was reported at the Wilco Farm Store in Cornelius on Feb. 2. The suspect, who has been identified as 37-year-old Dominic Lamania, allegedly took off his own shoes and put on a pair of new Danner boots worth $219.
The next day, he came back and allegedly stole another pair in the same manner worth $269.
In both cases, deputies say Lamania left his own shoes in the Danner shoe boxes.
He was arrested after both incidents were caught on surveillance video.
