Man arrested after party turns violent in Hillsboro
HILLSBORO, Ore. —
Deputies say a Hillsboro party turned violent in the early hours of Sunday morning.
One person was sent to the hospital and another landed in jail.
Washington County deputies responded to a call on Rood Bridge Road around 4:30 a.m. That's where they found a 31-year-old man badly hurt.
As deputies arrived, a car sped away from the scene. They pulled that car over and arrested 43-year-old Brian Autele on assault charges. He’s being held on $250,000 bail.
Deputies say Autele is trained in martial arts. They say they haven’t been able to find out why Autele attacked the man.
Meanwhile, the injured man was rushed to a hospital where he remains in serious condition.
