Man arrested in connection to Vancouver shooting of teen
VANCOUVER, Wash. —
Police said they arrested on Wednesday a 20-year-old man in connection to a shooting earlier this month that left a 17-year-old girl wounded.
Officers responded to East 33rd Street and F Street at around 8:50 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 10 after receiving a report of shots fired.
When they arrived, they found the 17-year-old girl with a gunshot wound.
Police say the suspect had fled the scene before officers arrived.
The girl was taken to a local hospital and was expected to survive. There is a YouCaring page set up for her.
On Wednesday, Vancouver police and U.S. Marshals arrested Andrew W. Adams-Mott on Interstate 5 in Vancouver.
He was taken to the Clark County Jail where he faces charges of assault 1 and robbery 1.
Police said there could be more arrests.
