Man burned in hash oil explosion in Vancouver, police say
VANCOUVER, Wash. Police believe an explosion at Vancouver home Sunday was caused by an attempt to make hashish oil by processing marijuana with butane.
Detectives who served a search warrant found several butane cans.
A man who suffered burns on his face was taken to a hospital by a friend.
The Clark-Vancouver Regional Drug Task Force is investigating.
Police said the explosion happened in the kitchen. They found a large amount of pot and several smoking devices inside the home.
