Man dies after being hit by train, knocked into water near St. John's Bridge
PORTLAND, Ore. - An 18-year-old man died Friday night after he was knocked into the water by a train south of the St. John's Bridge.
Police were called to the 7100 block of N.W. Front Ave. after a report that someone had been hit by an eastbound train.
When they arrived, they found the man in the water in the shore. They pulled him out, but couldn't revive him with CPR
The State Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy on Taishawn Nathaniel Millage and determined that he drowned after being knocked into the water.
It's unclear why Millage was walking on the train bridge.
