CLACKAMAS, Ore. -- A man was pinned between a wall and a tractor-trailer truck in a warehouse accident in Clackamas on Thursday morning.
The man in his mid-30s, not yet identified, was taken by Life Flight helicopter to Oregon Health & Science University with injuries that are believed to be life threatening, said Clackamas Fire spokesman Brandon Paxton.
Just after 7 a.m., fire officials responded to the Holman Distribution Center at 10755 S.E. Jennifer St. The accident happened when the man was helping direct a truck and as the truck was backing up, it pinned the man's head between the loading dock and the back of the truck, Paxton said.
Workers were able to quickly move the truck and free the man. Emergency officials who responded stabilized the man before taking him to the hospital, Paxton said.
