Man shot in Southeast Portland, police looking for suspect

PORTLAND, Ore. - A man was shot by someone he knows in Southeast Portland on Friday afternoon, and the suspect is still on the loose, according to Portland police.

The shooting happened at about 3:30 p.m. near Southeast 128th Avenue and Foster Road, police said.

The victim's wounds are not life-threatening, according to police. The man was taken to the hospital.

Police have not released a suspect description, but he got away in a car.

From Chopper 2, crime scene tape was seen across the front of what appears to be an apartment complex with police cars parked out front.
