PORTLAND, Ore. - Police are investigating a shooting in Southeast Portland after a gunshot victim showed up at a hospital emergency room Tuesday night.
The victim was shot multiple times, according to police. His current condition is unknown, but police said he was able to talk with medical staff.
Officers spoke with the man who brought the victim to a hospital and learned the shooting occurred at a home in the 3600 block of Southeast 49th Avenue.
The suspect is described as a white man who is about 5-foot-9 with a thin build. He was last seen wearing dark clothing and sunglasses.
Police are investigating the motive. They say the shooting does not appear to be gang-related.
