Man sues Portland restaurant, claiming they charge hidden fees
PORTLAND, Ore. – Grand Central Restaurant and Bowling Lounge is facing a lawsuit over claims the Southeast Portland business is charging hidden fees.
The suit claims customers aren’t properly notified about a 2 percent charge being tacked on to bills.
The plaintiff is suing the business for unlawful trade practices.
Notices explaining the charge offsets the rising minimum wage in Oregon are on some of the tables in the dining area.
But, the suit says they’re not in the bar or bowling lanes.
Grand Central Restaurant and Bowling Lounge said they have no comment on the lawsuit at this time.
