KELSO, Wash. -- Despite being handcuffed and surrounded by courtroom security, a Kelso man tried to make a break for it moments after being found guilty at his trial.
Jeremy Rosenbaum was convicted of harassment and witness tampering late last week. As the judge thanked the jury for their service and prepared to dismiss them, deputies said Rosenbaum jumped out of his chair, across the defendant's table and out into the court hallway. That's where he was tackled to the ground.
Rosenbaum will be sentenced on April 24. He could also face a new criminal charge of escape.
