Man wounded in gang-related shooting, police say

PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland police say a man was shot several times Sunday night and they are looking for the suspect.

It happened at a home in the 4000 block of Northeast 14th Avenue. Officers were called to the home just after 7 p.m.

They found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Police say the man's injuries do not appear to be life-threatening. His name was not immediately released.

Witnesses told police they heard an argument before the shooting.

The suspect is described as a black man who is 5-foot-9 and 16-20 years old. He has short hair and was wearing dark clothing, police said.

Police say the shooting is gang-related.
