Massage therapist accused of sexually abusing girl, 15

HILLSBORO, Ore. -- A Hillsboro massage therapist has been arrested on suspicion of sexually abusing a 15-year-old girl.

Washington County sheriff's deputies said Aaron Jamison Sanne, 39, works for Laurelhurst Physical Therapy and performs massages at Sunset Athletic Club. He met the girl through his massage work, deputies said.

He was arrested Thursday on a charge of second-degree sex abuse and booked in the Washington County Jail.

He has since posted bail and his next court date is March 18.

Deputies said Sanne has performed several massages on minors and they're concerned there could be more victims. Anyone with information should call Detective Erika Cox at 503-846-2500.

Friday afternoon, the Sunset Athletic Club issued the following statement:

"The safety of our members is the first priority of Sunset Athletic Club. We were shocked and surprised about the recent arrest of a trainer at the club. We are fully cooperating with the police as they investigate the charges. Sunset Athletic Club has had no complaints about this trainer during his entire time here. We will provide information as requested in the course of the justice process."
