MAX stabbing suspect under investigation for January stabbing outside Voodoo Doughnuts
PORTLAND, Ore. —
The man police say stabbed three people, killing two of them, last month on a MAX train is under investigation for a stabbing in front of the downtown Voodoo Doughnuts in January, Portland police said Friday.
Jeremy Christian, 35, is currently in jail accused of killing Taliesin Myrddin Kamkai Meche and Ricky Best, and seriously wounding Micah Fletcher after police say the three men stood up to him when he hurled hateful words toward two girls on a MAX train May 26.
In the Friday, Jan. 27 incident, one person was wounded after a fight broke out outside the Voodoo Doughnut shop on Southwest 3rd Avenue.
The suspect stabbed a man, who walked into the doughnut shop for help.
