No one hurt after car nearly crashes into large propane tank
CLACKAMAS, Ore. -- Sheriff's deputies are looking for the driver of a car that crashed into a fence protecting several large propane tanks in Clackamas Saturday afternoon.
No one was hurt, but the driver was missing when firefighters arrived, according to Brandon Paxton with Clackamas Fire. Four passengers were inside the car. They were able to get out on their own before crews arrived at the scene.
The 30,000 gallon propane tank was not damaged.
Paxton said the car was traveling at a high speed when it crashed into a fence surrounding several propane tanks near 9450 Southeast Mangan Drive at around 12:30 p.m.
The car landed upside down. None of the passengers was taken to a hospital.
